Free New Milk Movies

One movie that has been awarded with esteemed awards and is worth a watch is ‘Milk’. Unlike the meaning suggested by the title of the movie, this flick is about a man named Harvey Milk. He was the first gay guy in United States to be voted as a public officer in San Francisco, California. Harvey Milk proved its distinctness by being among the first three gay persons in all of the United States to go for such a thing.

This second movie on Harvey Milk and follows the storyline of its previous version. The previous version of the movie was released way back in November 1984 with the title ‘The Times of Harvey Milk’. This movie made its way to Oscars and won an Oscar for the Best Documentary Film. People do tend to compare the revised version with the original one, however, they couldn’t make out much of a difference quality wise. The 2008 version and got nominated for 8 categories at the Academy Awards and won Oscars with the titles of Best Actor in a Leading Role and Best Original Screenplay. Best Actor in a Leading Role was awarded to Sean Penn for his excellent performance in the role of Harvey Milk. Best Original Screenplay was awarded to Dustin Lance Black.

The filming for Milk was also as authentic as it gets with the crew moving down to San Francisco’s Castro Street and even the camera shop that Milk once owned – Castro Camera. The movie captures Milk’s life from the age of 40 right up to his assassination. It starts with him in New York from where he moves to San Francisco with his lover Scott Smith refusing to stay hiding in his closet for the rest of his life.

He makes a fresh start by opening a camera shop on Castro Street that soon becomes the meeting place for the gay members of the San Franciscan community. Milk begins to focus on the issue of gay rights and the lack of it which is followed by a move to make a foray into the world of politics to be better able to champion the gay cause. Milk is met with many failures before he is successfully voted as a supervisor. Then begins his struggle to espouse the gay cause and get people to see the injustice being meted out to gays for being who they were. This process leads him to take on both Anita Bryant as well as a colleague by the name of Dan White who also happens to be elected at the same time as Milk.

White (played by Josh Brolin) represents the conservatives and is constantly “out-voted” by Milk and other supervisors who are pro growth. Dan White’s increasing frustrations on both personal and professional fronts lead to the chilling end of the movie. Yes, the story of Harvey Milk is interesting and moving, allowing audiences of all sorts to enjoy it with equal interest. One of the biggest blockbuster movies of the year 2009 was “2012″ directed by Roland Emmerich of “The Independence Day” fame. This is an epic disaster/adventure movie which is based on global cataclysm i.e. natural disasters. The story takes its root from the predictions in the Mesoamerican Long Count Calendar and the Mayan calendar which states that the world will be destroyed completely by the year 2012 due to certain climatic changes. Dean Semler is the cinematographer of this movie.

The’80’s saw a lot of sci-fi Hollywood movies released each year, but none of these movies came close to being as great and magnificent as The Back to the Future movie. The movie was directed by Robert Zemeckis and written by him and Bob Gale. The king of sci-fi Hollywood movies, Steven Spielberg produced the movie.

The movie brought a whole new perspective to time travelling and changed the way people looked at or thought about time travel as earlier everyone only related time travel to the future. But in the movie Marty McFly who is the protagonist meets Dr. Emmet Brown who builds a time machine that takes them into the past and then back to the future.

People who lived in the 80’s, kids and adults both, were totally entranced by this new concept and even today many think it is one of the most brilliant sci-fi movie ever. The movie starts with Michael J. Fox who plays Marty and his weird and eccentric friend Dr. Emmet Brown played by Christopher Lloyd trying to work on a futuristic looking car that can time travel.

That is why the movie is called Back to the Future as Marty has to try and come back from the past to the future. But he has to do this without disturbing anything in the past, as the time he lands in the past is’55 when both his parents are in high school and haven’t yet fallen in love with each other. If Marty does anything wrong he might change the course of his own future in a very drastic way.

Most kids or adults who watch the movie even today feel that this movie was ahead of its time and is still thought by many as a true science fiction gem. The movie is not only packed with a great storyline and excellent graphics but also the acting is top class by all the stars. Even the dialogues and humor in the movie are unforgettable.

One of the most outstanding scenes throughout the movie is when Marty plays Johnny Be Good at the prom of’55 where his mom and dad are both present. The student crowd at the prom is flabbergasted and stunned with the music as no one in the year’55 had ever heard anything like this before. Michael J. Fox’s performance in this scene is truly outstanding and unforgettable.

Aliens In The Attic Free Online

Aliens in the Attic movie is written by Mark Burton and Adam F. Goldberg. This is a complete family oriented movie set in Michigan but originally shot in New Zealand. There are two parts to it. Because the digital effects are good and the cast is athletic, the action is a lot more believable. The movie is based on alien invading the Earth. All the characters in the movie are funny and appealing.

The aliens are not mechanical in appearance and action. The story is written by Mark Burton and Adam F. Goldberg. Kevin Nealon and Gillian Vigman (parents) decide to take their family on fishing vacation to the lake house in Michigan. Their children are Carter Jenkins, Ashley Tisdale and Ashley Boettcher. Carter is brainy at everything except math. Ashley has a boy friend (Robert Hoffman) who is creepy and Ashley Boettcher is the adorable, youngest child.

Parents, Kevin Nealon and Gillian Vigman decide to go on a fishing vacation to their lake home in Michigan accompanied by their children. They have three of them, Carter Jenkins (who is a brainy child but fails in math), Ashley Tisdale (who has an annoying, creepy boyfriend Robert Hoffman) and Ashley Boettcher (whose primary role in the movie is to look adorable). Their relatives, family number two, consisting of the dad (Andy Richter), a beer drinker, a grandmother an off centred woman (Doris Roberts), a male teen (Austin Butler) and a pair of identical twins (Henri and Regan Young) join them.

A meteor shower hits the house’s attic and leaves four tiny aliens behind in it, disrupting their vacation. The aliens want to destroy man-kind by turning adult humans in to robots that are remotely controlled. They accomplish this, by injecting the adults in the neck, then implanting a device through which the adults brain and movements can be remote controlled. The implant is ineffective on children so they are spared. It is now up to the children to protect the adults and to the save the world.

The aliens speak English and can never stop talking. They are commanded by Skip (J.K.Simmons’ voice). The alien team consists of a warrior Razor who is a girl (Kari Wahlgren’s voice), muscular Tazer (Voiced by Thomas Church) and Sparks (Voiced by Josh Peek). The fight scenes involve paintball guns, fire extinguishers, spud gun that is homemade and rakes. There is a terrific involving Robert Hoffman and Doris Roberts in a kung-fu, full contact fight.
